This is SOOO good!!! I happened to make BA’s “best Caesar dressing” a couple of weeks ago and this is far better. Week after week this continues to be the best investment. Thanks Caro!

Yum! My husband who hates eating salad for dinner said, “This one’s a keeper that we should make next time we have friends over.” That’s the highest compliment he could give. Such a deliciously simple dinner that had a punch of yummy! We ate with a giant loaf of crusty bread and have plenty of left over dressing and crumbles to eat for lunch tomorrow with some cooked chicken.

My 5-year-old, who’s been reading a lot of Pete the Cat, just declared this salad “totally out of sight!!!”

Made this on Tuesday and it was delicious. Saved the extra dressing. Friday night I started making the sheet pan spiced chicken and realized that by the end of the week I was out of yogurt to make the sauce and fresh garlic... used the leftover Caesar dressing instead... so good. Both meals going into the weeknight rotation.

Ok that's brilliant and now I want to develop a sheetpan caesar recipe sich

Did the tortellini add in and would 10/10 recommend!

When you say 6 anchovies, does that mean 6 whole anchovies? I can only find anchovy fillets, not sure how many to use in that case...

Would it be okay to use bottled Caesar?

Oh man I’m glad i found this in the WTC archives! Soooo good! Added a shake of chili flakes on the crumble mix, and added some sliced cucumbers and chopped dill to the salad (fridge management!). Yummm

So proud of myself for making homemade Caesar dressing. Those breadcrumbs were SO good too.

I didn’t make this recipe when it was first released since making the breadcrumb and pepita crumble seemed kind of fussy. Wow, mistake. It’s easy, you’re going to use the food processor for the dressing anyway, and it gives the recipe amazing texture. I’ll never question you again, Caro!

This is so damn delish!!!! I love salmon and I love ceasar. The dressing comes out fab!!!! I am reading Dr. Ramsey’s book too and feel even better eating so many of your recipes because I understand all the health benefits now too! WTC is the best gift I gave myself this year! Don’t stop doing it! If you ever need a plug anywhere just ask! I could sell your recipes anywhere!!👏👏👏

What does everyone do with the couple of extra anchovies leftover in the tin?

Samantha C's avatar

My fam jam just adds them to the salad. It makes my people feel fancy.

Could halibut be subbed in for the salmon?

any thoughts on using a tube of anchovy paste instead of a can of anchovies? Feel bad that I ended up wasting half the can! OR ideas for how to use up the rest?

use 1 tbsp to start, then add more to taste!
