Watch now | Hi hi! This week’s podcast episode is an ask me anything episode! Y’all submitted questions, I answered them. We cover a lot of ground — from how I keep my cool during toddler meltdowns, to the economics of this newsletter, to overcoming mom guilt because it is idiotic and unproductive. This was fun!
Highlight of my hump day every week. Thoughtful recommendations of products I am actually interested in (even if I don’t know I am before reading) that really stand out among the millions of things recommended constantly on social media
Love this newsletter and following you on social media! Laughed out loud and had to show my husband the recent sourdough post. Our sons have a lot in common!
i just recently finished having babies (been pregnant for three years straight, really wish I were kidding... love my kids but woah that was a rideeeee) and I am trying to lose weight which is, hard. harder than i expected it to be. so instead of beating myself up everytime something is either too big, too small, or *really* too small.... i just decided to join Rent The Runway and get 10 new items of clothes every month until I get to where I feel comfortable buying some clothes. seems obvious but it's a weight lifted.
I don’t know if this counts as a recent purchase, since I bought my house in July 1997, but I recently made the final mortgage payment and that is bringing me SO much joy!!!
I purchased a new coffee mug (total want zero need) from ban.do that says "BOOK PERSON" in multicolored letters and has a little happy face inside the cup that smiles at me while I sip. I just love it.
I used Framebridge to frame a picture taken by a close friend of me and my baby. The final product is gorgeous and truly makes me smile every time I see it!
Like getting an email from my best friend who actually cares about me.
I love your podcast. Just love all the mom and creator content. Feels like we’re friends. Great job thank you!
Love your formatting, Caro! Kudos to your team that continues to use Substack in really innovative ways

You can rent a Peloton bike! I just did it and it's a really good deal and there's no contract, you can return at any time!

I finally splurged on a Kindle case from Page the Shop and absolutely love it! It's made my e-reading experience so much happier!

I finally caved to peer pressure and bought an Owala and y’all aren’t lying. It’s good. I’m drinking like twice the water I normally do.
