So into The Anxious Generation book. Just finished it this week and wishing it was required reading for all parents, caregivers, teachers, school administrators, government officials, etc.
I'm so into Julia Louis-Dreyfus' podcast, Wiser Than Me! She just wrapped her second season and holy moly, it's epic! She has remarkable conversations with older (wiser) ladies like Ina Garten, Debbie Allen, Patti Smith, Julie Andrews, and Vera Wang. They're all so insightful and powerful, and Julia is a wonderful host and beautiful story-teller. Obsessed!!!!
Really into reading on my Kindle PaperWhite right now with the Libby App. It took me years to figure out the Libby App (why - I have no idea?), but it has really changed my world of reading!
I'm so into building my summer reading list! I'm a high school librarian and my kids will be in camp all summer for the first time since 2019 and I am PUMPED!
I’m so into hearing about mama feelings during summer transitions/milestones. Grads leaving the house, kids moving to middle school. I heard from a mom whose kiddo rode a bike for the first time, and witnessed a toddler make their first diving board jump. Kids grow up so much in the summer and I love being a witness to it all.
My kids went away to college 17 years ago but I’ll tell you what it was one of the hardest things I’ve ever gone through. I’m a licensed professional counselor and I had to go see a counselor. I filled up trash cans with my tear stained Kleenexes. I wanted a do-over. I wanted to go back and make everything better, even though I gave it my best.
My counselor told me one thing that made all the difference: She looked at me like Glenda the good witch from the Wizard of Oz and she said, “…the first child leaving the home is a monumental experience and everyone in your family is feeling it but nobody is talking about it.”
She had four grown kids and she normalized what I was feeling. I realized I needed to grieve the transition well in order to make room for all the great new stuff: marriages, grandbabies, grown kids as friends, etc
I am at my parents this week in a beautiful little valley in East TN. I have been so into sitting on the back porch watching the birds and mountains and sipping coffee
So into... trying to stop buying so many things on Amazon! Looked around the other day and saw three unopened packages from Amazon laying on the table... from weeks ago. Impulse purchasing has gotten out of control for me this spring, thought it was going to be hard to slow it down, but it really hasn't! Just leaving things in the cart for a few extra days has really made me more conscious about what I'm clicking and adding. Saving that money for a vacay instead :)
I know tinned fish has been having a moment and the health benefits are so there. I'm in on salmon, tuna, anchovies (when I can't detect their crunchy bodies) but I haven't been buying lots of fish (bc $$, mercury? sustainable?) UNTIL MY FRIEND SHOWED ME CANNED MACKEREL.
It's bomb, skinned and deboned, low on the food chain and not crazily priced. Also like 25g protein for a small bit. I just ordered a forklift full from Wild Planet.
I'm so into roller skating! I went to a roller skating family fun night at my kids school last week, and I got on a pair of roller skates for the first time in 25 years and had so much fun! I'm going to get a pair for myself and my daughter so we can practice together.
Sending food packages to my long distance friends who are going through it (one with a newborn and the other whose father is in the ICU) as my small way to support them since I can’t hold their hands in person!

I’m so into loving on all my grandkids this summer. No school frees up extra time to spend with each of them…feeling so blessed!
love this so so much

This podcast is one of my favorites! Such a genius idea.

I’m so into making Aperol spritzes and drinking them by our fire pit in the backyard. It feels like a mini vacation!
I love Molly's additions too!
Thanks Amanda - it's been so fun to help out with these!! :)

I’m so into working on my library’s summer reading challenge for adults! I haven’t been this focused on reading since I was a child!
It's... canned Mackerel.

I'm so into all of the free summer events in my community! We love going and meeting neighbors!

Curious, what kind of food packages?
