I just got around to listening to this podcast and THANK YOU SO MUCH for the miscarriage conversation and especially the laughter. I've had 8 pregnancy losses and I was nodding along to everything Gaby said. The conversation was so real and yes you do need to laugh about it when you can. Even the part about being more upset about missing the concert because you'd already accepted the loss was on point.

for my kitchen renovations the old stove was electric on a peninsula! (this family had 4 kids, I was thinking, how did this work safely!?) and ofc I needed a gas stove because...you get it. There is no natural gas on my street (seems odd!) but we DID have a propane tank (already there) solely for the generator. We dug up the entire backyard to send a gas line into the house. lots of extra steps to the reno but SO WORTH IT for cooking with gas!!
