No apologies needed!! Thank you for making time to reshare a recipe I loved last year and forgot about!! Hope you find some peace a s are able to recover from your terrible travel experience!!
Hi!! Excited for this, fyi I got late July salsa verde -- 15 oz jar -- and dumped the jar in a strainer and was left with 3 tbsp total of “stuff” -- so do not recommend using this brand! I’m sure it’ll be delicious, I’m just adjusting.
We love these at our house! Made some last week... any excuse to use Michael’s English Muffins as a bun is a good excuse in my book ☺️ Also, so glad everyone made it to the east coast (mostly) unscathed 😅
Arg!! I made these using ground turkey. The ground meat mixture was SO wet. I couldn’t grill them - I tried but couldn’t flip them and salvaged what I could into a pan on the stove. The sandwiches turned out like sloppy joes instead of burgers. So tasty, though, so would love to know what I did wrong. I’m guessing the salsa verde brand was more liquid than chunky? I strained, but not a ton of liquid came out.
Meant to comment last week when I made these but I forgot. These were so freaking good!! Even got the approval of the moody tween who hates chicken and basically anything that's not a carb. I will say my adhd was at work and I misread the directions and added all of the shredded cheese into the burgers. Not mad about it.
I kept getting to watery salsa verde, so subbed a small can of the Hatch brand green chilis…fabulous! Recommend doing that and adding some additional spice or salt if needed.
Made these tonight -- bomb! I screwed up the recipe though (read too quickly , lol!) and ended up making a simple crema with sour cream, lime zest & juice, chili powder, cumin and a little salt. Everyone was skeptical but we all loved it! Thanks Caroline!

These were so good! So out of my comfort zone to make but I’m glad I did. Doubled the recipe to have a bunch of burgers to freeze and eat postpartum 🎉
I make a LOT of chicken/turkey burgers and these were the absolute best!! So juicy!
I made the cobbler tonight and it was great, thank you for sharing the recipe!

(To clarify, everyone except me was skeptical!)
