I'm working on stocking my freezer for postpartum (with lots of our WTC faves). Do you think it would be ok to throw the marinade and meat in the freezer so I can just defrost and cook later or would the pineapple in the marinade do something funky and over tenderize do you think?
I am 1000% sure that meat snobs would say not to do it but I say 100% go for it. Marinate it and freeze it right away, then defrost in the fridge and cook right away, like within 12-24 hours.
I make this every few weeks lately. Super easy meal using our pellet grill or in the oven. My toddler loves it. Serving it for supper tonight with your coconut rice recipe, your peanut sauce recipe, and veggies. Thanks for all the great recipes.
Can you do a Turkey tenderloin?
Yes! Cook until 155 internally then tent with foil until it gets to 165. Turkey is so lean that it'll keep cooking off the grill!
This is SO good and in our rotation with grilled green beans tossed with a little garlic, soy sauce, and sesame oil.

Can you defrost and marinate at the same time, or is that not ideal?
Not ideal but you absolutely can to save time!
Thank you!
Can you do this in the oven? Or on the stove top? Was planning to make tonight but it snowed; too cold to grill!
yes! sear all over in a cast iron skillet over medium-high heat. then roast at 400 for a few more minutes, until cooked all the way through!
