I love this recap and so happy to be here. I’m fairly new to the group but have thoroughly enjoyed every recipe I’ve made. I’m still in the bliss of the Good Luck Soup. Excited for my family to try the wonton curry.
Not TECHNICALLY 2024, but last year’s kale salad for all from the holiday guide 🤤🤤 I swear if I have made that salad once then I have made it 100 times this year!!!
Please know that the gazpacho style tomato soup was not overlooked by me, I made it three weeks in a row and ate it all myself and only stopped because my CSA box stopped sending tomatoes 😂
I LOVE your newsletter and this 2024 wrap up. I loved the podcast, but I truly get our girl Caro had a ton on her plate in 2024, so the newsletter make me happy. Congrats to your team for a really successful 2024, excited to be in your corner of the world in 2025!
I just came up on my one year anniversary of my WTC subscription and I had written a future note to myself in case I wanted to cancel before renewal (as I do with any subscription). I almost laughed out loud because this, of all things I’ve ever subscribed to, is THE BEST purchase of 2024 and, possibly, of my life! My meal prep life has never been easier or more enjoyable. I absolutely love all the content you put out there, recipes and otherwise. I am a fan and subscriber for life!
Wontons and veggies is a banger and we make it weekly! I loved the podcast and looked forward to it every weds. I hope it is considered on hiatus and not a complete failure -- it was charming ! Here's to more excitement in 2025
I made tandoori chicken bowls probably 20 times in the back half of this year. 4x the recipe and made it for a bachelorette party and it was such a hit! Honorable mention to 20 min summer sauté and the wontons in curry broth!
The Wontons in Curry broth blew us away, but so has everything in the cookbook I’ve made so far (18-several more than once!). Especially love the Salmon Crunch Bowls and the two turkey patty/burger recipes. Who knew a turkey burger could taste so good??? But honestly, I cannot choose just one (either a weekly recipe or any from the book). Keep on cooking and Happy 2025!!
Here to give some love to the beef basil bowls! That peanut sauce!! The summer sauté was a weekly meal during late summer, and now we’re living strictly on wonton veggie curry. With a spoonful of red clay chili crisp on top? Come on now.
I’m bummed to hear you are done done with the podcast, because I very much enjoyed it and felt like I knew you much better after listening (confirmed that we’d be friends IRL) but also I’m happier to hear you are giving it up because it was too much time. I do love this newsletter, too, and have made so many great purchases based on your recs. I think I’m with George on the mob wife salad as my favorite recipe. Congrats on a smashing success of a year!
I bought the book ASAP (love!), but the wontons in curry broth is what made me subscribe, and I've never been happier to have a subscription to anything. I dream about that meal (and several others I've made).

Welcome to the crew!!!!! So happy you're here.

Omg, same. Sometimes I start writing a new recipe and then I realize I'm just rewriting that salad. It's hardwired in my brain!!
Loved the good luck soup! It's been so fun to cook this year thanks to your Substack! 💗

I needed to hear this. Justice for chilled tomato soup!!!!

Omg how did the summer sauté not make the top 5!!!! That one was a HIT.
100% with you on tandoori chicken bowls

The sheet pan miso chicken is my family’s favorite. My kids ask for the yogurt sauce all the time!!
Ok I also freaking love the gazpacho style tomato soup. I made it 4 times from August through September and loved it so much every single time!

Okay I loved this because the recipes in the highlight reel were all ones I had not yet made. Gives me lots to look forward to making!!
My top 2 from 2024 were the Twice Baked Delicata Squash and Good Luck Soup! ❤️
Unstuffed tomatoes was far and away my fave recipe of the year! I make it like once a week. My children eat it. It's perfect.
