So into prepping nourishing breakfasts and lunches for myself instead of it being an afterthought. Oh and I just finished Demon Copperhead, and wow, such good writing.
Iām so into my neighborhood book club - I was hesitant to join bc I was new to the hood & didnāt really know anyone, but I wanted to read more & meet peopleā¦turns out they are a fabulous bunch of women and weāre now friends!
Neighbor friends can be the best!! We moved into our neighborhood in November and I know meet with a group of women on my street almost every Monday to play Mahjong. We already loved the house/neighborhood but having that community has made it even sweeter.
Feels like I finally trained my 2.5 year old and 5 month old to tolerate my daily stroller walks and feels like a big win! Reading yesteryear and itās interesting so far..
Iām having fun planning my first ever birthday party for our 5 yo! Iāve been reading the Dungeon Crawler Carl series at the same time as my brother (heās currently deployed) and talking through them when we finish each one š±
Still so into soup despite summer around the corner.. contributed the WTC red lentil curry stew for teacher appreciation soup & salad luncheon and it was a huge hit! I love that one & good luck soup. Would love to hear othersā favorites!
What a fun teacher appreciation meal!! Have you tried good mood chicken and bean soup? Itās soooo good, and is a dump and go soup so takes practically no effort
Iām so into Tari ārocoto pepper sauceā⦠I randomly bought it off a grocery shelf and now itās my favorite thing ever for drizzling atop shredded rotisserie chicken on top of a cracker!!!
Bought veggie and flower plants to make a container garden with my 4.5 year old. Also loving The Calamity Club by Kathryn Stockett (author of The Help)
This summer I can't wait to take my kids to Colorado , and then escape to Italy (Tuscany and Lake Garda) with my husband for a week. I just discovered cinnamon sugar cashews at Trader Joe's ā where have those been all my life?!

Lion Women of Tehran is so timely and one of the best books Iāve read all year. Reminds me of My Brilliant Friend.
