This was a huge hit at my house! My toddler ate everything (salmon, potatoes, asparagus, sauce) and even said GOOD JOB MAMA so I am on cloud nine right now :). fyi - I ended up making this with baby blue potatoes and they turned out great.
I made this today and it was amazing! I used a big salmon filet and used 1/2 Mayo 1/2 yogurt for the dip. Also used frozen asparagus from last year and just put it in with the potatoes. Thank you!
Super yummy! Our salmon was on the thinner side, so we took it out a few minutes before the asparagus and potatoes, but wouldn't have been an issue at all if we were eating this at room temp. I've been dipping veggies in the rest of the sauce all week!
This was soooo good! And I’ve never gotten salmon exactly right, so your tip was KEY!! It was perfect! And although I loved the sauce, to keep it lighter, we ate it without and it was STILL delicious!! Thank you!!
Loved the flavors and how quick and easy it was to throw together! Great use of time too, I never felt like I was wasting time waiting for things to finish cooking - I was either chopping for the next step or making the sauce or cleaning up during waiting time. Love that.
And bonus, this recipe made my toddler finally try/like salmon! The dip (I used yogurt) was also so so good, she was literally slurping it off her plate 😵💫
Made this last night - so light and very spring-y! I grabbed a whole salmon plank when I was at the store last week (when you posted the teaser pic), so I just sliced that into smaller pieces (though wondering if I could have left it whole?)
Your cooking tips turned out so perfectly - I am guilty of often overcooking salmon but this turned out very flavorful and moist. I also used some medium sized gold potatoes that had been languishing and chopped them into about the right size. And finally, I was yesterday years old when I learned green onions & chives are not the same thing 🙃 but thanks to your sub list, I was able to quickly pivot to use parsley!
400F grill, clean then grease the F out of the grates (soak a papertowel in vegetable/canola/grapeseed/avocado oil then use tongs to drag it over the grill grates) and grill for 6 minutes per side!

So delicious! We both had seconds!!
My 5 year old tried salmon for the first time with this recipe and promptly asked for it for lunch the next day AND dinner the next week. Big hit!
I have everything for this EXCEPT fresh dill. Only fresh herb in the house is cilantro...or would dried dill be better? Thank you!
Made this tonight and oh my was it delish!!! Going in our salmon rotation for sure

Totally agree on the asparagus! Used to buy the thin bundles..it just turns to mush! Also just learned what a niçoise was. Nice. Thanks!

Oh and how did I forget to mention the sauce?!? That dill flavor is so dang good!!
If I wanted to grill the salmon how would you recommend timing/temp wise?
