I’m so into walking to my local library after putting the baby to bed and browsing all the sections! Cook books, New Releases, Mysteries, the children’s sections, gardening. Scratches the shopping itch but it’s all free!
I am SO into breakfast salads- basically a deconstructed breakfast (roast potatoes, crispy bacon, avocado, tomato, soft boiled eggie) with easy olive oil/dijon/white wine vinegary dressing lightly tossed in arugula. Game changer and energizer. Another thing I am into is walks after every meal - helps digest!

I’m also so into the 2nd season of Shrinking! The characters are all so amazing in their individual ways. You laugh, you cry. It has the best music (the show playlists are on Apple Music). 30ish minute episodes are so refreshing. Watch if you haven’t yet!
I am so into my local Buy Nothing group lately. It’s amazing having a local community like this who is so generous giving away things they don’t need and being able to share things with them too. I just got like 8 lbs of home grown carrots from a neighbor and currently cuddled up under a warm wool blanket from another neighbor.
On returning home from a 3 week trip to Scandinavia, my husband and I were in “cardamom withdrawal.” Thank goodness for Kate Lebo and her newly revised “Pie School.” We’ve been sharing her Brandied Apple and Cracked Cardamom Pie with friends and family and getting rave reviews! It’s just the perfect pie for fall and will have a spot this year on the Thanksgiving pie board!
I am so into paying it forward right now! I serve on the board of The Terry Foundation, which is the largest private scholarship provider in Texas. We give full ride scholarships to high school students to attend university at 13 different schools in Texas completely free of cost (everything, including living expenses, is covered). I received the scholarship myself 17 years ago (!!) and just got to attend two events at schools in north Texas meeting amazing students who are doing awesome things. Being able to be a connection for them that helps lift them up and provide a leg up when they need it is such a great feeling! It makes the travel and days away from my kids worth it.

YES! I can never believe my luck when I walk out of the public library with a handful of books FOR FREE??
