Some of my favs: pork adobo with Mexican cauli rice (it is SO easy & so good, kids also like it!), sheet pan sausage, brussels, shrooms, & last but surely not least jerk chicken thighs (we have a pellet smoker and I throw them on there at 225 for 20/30 min to get the Smokey flavor, and then up it 375 to then get some char on there) with coconut rice (this has become a side staple in my house, it is so damn good).

Hi! New here. Is it possible to print from substack? I can’t operate off my phone when I’m cooking. I like paper!

Sheetpan chicken cauliflower and butternut squash has been on repeat all winter! Good soup, lemony shrimp orzo and sheet pan steak fajitas are also favs. Thank you for taking the stress out of finding recipes each week, they are always a fav in our family!

Our family favorites: one pot cheesy rice and beans, sheet pan sausages sweet potatoes and apples. By all means have people over for the sesame ginger steak meal. I had a very successful dinner party using this. Use extra marinade on an another piece of flank steak and freeze for later grilling.

Cheesy chipotle shrimp tacos-- on repeat in our house! We made them for our friends who moved here from LA and were homesick this winter. One of the kids said "mmmm beachy" after she took her first bite. Other faves: good soup, tempura crunch salmon , farro with sausage and asparagus

Hi! I’m new here. Love your work, Caro. Thanks for taking the stress out of meal planning.

Question- is the meal plan for 2 adults? Or 4 people? Or 2 adults and some kids (that may or may not eat depending on what way the wind is blowing)?

Thanks!

GREAT question! It's written for 4 normal to big appetites. So it feeds my family of 5 (3 big appetites, 2 small ones) perfectly.

And the grocery list already includes all of the "double the burgers for lunch the next day" type of notes in the meal plan.

Thai chicken chopped salad (THE BEST - also my go-to for bringing meals to friends and always gets raves), roasted sweet potatoes and chickpeas with whipped feta, cauliflower and white bean bowls (you already have this one covered), jalapeno pork chops w/ watermelon salad, salmon crunch bowls!

We make the refried bean tacos almost weekly! Healthy-ish turkey bolognese is always a winner. Creamy creamless tomato soup is on rotation a lot in the winter months too.

Some of our favs here with the toddler are good soup, beef and broccoli, pasta sorta Norma, and tiny tomato pasta. And the pumpkin pasta, any meal that involves a meat ball or can be turned into a meatball and any of the sheet pan gnocchi situations. Basically everything, we haven’t been disappointed yet!
