I loooove having a houseful of people to feed! One thing I love to make is a giant pan or two of loaded nachos for people to pick at while we catch up. I’ve also made your white chicken chili from the book several times on very short notice, using my instant pot!

Nachos are a fabulous idea for hosting snackies.

Hosting family! We make Cioppino every Christmas Eve and it is one of my favorite traditions!

Was literally having the convo with my husband - what am I going to cook all week and come here to find Caro already solved the problem!

Staying home for the school break starting at the end of next week and then seeing family for Christmas 4 hours away for a few days. My MIL never includes veggies or fruit in her “meal planning” so I’m going to have to offer making veggie sides and bring some fruit to snack on.

I have been loving the good mood soup! Even my dad does - and the only vegetable that 75 year old man eats is …. Well now I can’t think of ONE! Anyway it is delicious and easy!!!

We have an Aura and love it! I swear my boys can stand in front of it watching pictures forever

We’re doing a mix! Home with one family for Christmas Eve and traveling to make it in time for Christmas dinner with the other side of family. Chaotic but worth it!

We're having a cozy Christmas Eve/Day and then hosting my parents and brother for the week in between Christmas and New Years! We're also planning to take them out and see some of the fun downtown holiday cheer in Chicago. I love to play tourist in my home city this time of year. <3

How do you handle drinks with a large group situation like this? Do you bring a bunch of wine and beer or do you batch your favorite cocktails?

Also, I LOVE the aura frame. Way better than other digital frames we’ve tried. It is the best gift for grandparents. So easy to send photos to the frame. We have one for ourselves too and each of our frames has over 2000 photos. 😳 I think it might be time to get a second one!

Odd question, the frame works internationally, right? And how hard is it for technically challenged grandparents to operate? Like, do they need to “accept” the pictures to be able to see them?

Yes, I believe so! All they have to do is plug it in and, as long as they have WiFi, it will show all the photos you have loaded. And it will show any you add to it in the future. It’s seriously the best and so easy

Hosting several housefuls of people at a variety of time between 12/23-1/2. This post will come in very handy this time of year!
