My favorite thing was that after 13 months of living with and fighting cancer complete with 6 rounds of chemo, 3 immunotherapies, a double mastectomy, 25 rounds of radiation and 7 “light” chemotherapies (7 more to go), they found no evidence of disease on July 1. I can finally exhale. 😃
My husband has stage 4 kidney cancer and just got back stable scans with some shrinkage last week so I know that feeling! Congrats to you and go celebrate!
My favorite June moment has been hearing how my husband and I talk through our 4 year old daughter. Little things like, “Another reminder, Mom”, “Do you have time today to…”, “That’s so impressive!” When referring to her little brother standing without help and my favorite, “You smell like throw up” when her dad burped 🤣. It’s sounds so ridiculous when I put it in writing but holy crap, it’s cute and hilarious!
I started chemo last month and have been spoiling myself with cozy things. The main one being these Amazon Essentials x Sofia Grainge Mommy and Me Short Sleeve Pajama Set. So comfy and soft and only 20$. I just bought two more colors!
My favorite part of June was seeing flowers blooming around me and getting to be outside for the first time this year. After a rainy May, we could finally enjoy the weather a little more (although it heated WAY up!).
Blueberry cornmeal shortbread tart is my favorite summer thing right now. I made it for my husband a couple weeks ago and for my family this weekend and everyone was beside themselves! Also: clogs for tromping around the yard with my toddler. I used an old gift card to get a nice pair from LL Bean and I plan to wear them until I'm 80.

My favorite thing from June has been watching my one year old play with grass. He loves grass! Helps me appreciate small things more.
My fave June thing was taking off random weekday mornings to play mahjong with friends!
